According to Adaptation Theory, in terms of language use, adaptability is the property of language which enables human beings to make negotiable linguistic choices from a variable range of possibilities in such a way as to approach points of satisfaction for communication need. And the choices are an inseparable process of variability, negotiability and adaptability. While the translation is a linguistic process of "making choices" for communication, and is a process of adaptation.Based on Adaptation Theory, this thesis respectively makes the comparative analysis of the three different times of Chinese Bible. From the context, structure, dynamics and salience of the four angles of adaptation, it analyzes the translators of Bible make the choices of the different translation strategies—Formal Correspondence and Functional Equivalence, which make the linguistic choices in different Bible version approaching to the satisfactory communicative effect for catering for the readers. And it gives the theoretic support to the choice of translation strategies of the translators.
