A Painting Emperor,Song Huizong

Zhaoji is the eighth emperor of Northern Song Dynasty, Song Huizong ,he had a versed accomplishment on painting, calligraphy because of his genius. And his huge success is affirmed absolutely in the long history of China in art field. While, as an emperor, his flabbiness bring on perdition of Northern Song Dynasty at last. Anyway, all through the ages, Zhaoji is affirmed in both art field and history. Particularly, as an individual, his behavior is not isolated on art and politics. This article mainly analysis the influence and relationship of these two parts, which based on the fact of history, and including such aspects as below:On one hand, this article embody Zhaoji's achievement on painting, calligraphy based on many conclusive evidence according to history, such as his contribution on building academy of art and accomplishment for whole art field. In this part, we will do many detailed analysis, for instance, the distinguish of painting work, the taste value of calligraphy, and compilation, etc. We will discuss all separately in four parts.On the other hand, this article especially analysis the embodiment reflected from himself due to the reciprocity between calligraphy and politics. His identity of emperor upgrade his success of art, but at the same time destroys himself as a result of obstinacy. While, we have to admit that, there are many reasons lead to his failure, but the most important is his obstinate pursuit on painting has occupied most of his energy as a emperor.Actually, it will be more suitable to call him a"Painting emperor"in Chinese history.
