The Chu silk manuscript was unearthed in September 1942 in a Warring States Chu Tomb of Hunan Changsha, and it attracted wide attention after it's unearthed. Recent 70 years, both at home and abroad there were a lot of work associated with the Chu silk manuscript. In this paper, we focused on the chapterâ…¢and scrapes of the Chu silk manuscript. After collecting the main research results in nearly 70 years, write this variorum, hope to give follow-up study a little help.In this paper, firstly give an overall study of the Chu Silk manuscript, include the following content:1. The discuss of the unearthed time and place of the The Chu silk manuscript. As the silk was unearthed in the excavation during the war, and the parties created confusion in order to cover up the fact, so the exactly time and place of unearthed is very difficult to determine. A few decades years after the The Chu silk manuscript was unearthed, many experts and scholars had varying degrees of discussion and research on the unearthed time and place, based on some facts and memories of the parties concerned, and organize a variety of materials sought to be clarified.2. The updates of the copies of the Chu Silk manuscripts, photo rely on the use of new technologies. Based on the text do colloquial interpretations in order to have an intuitive meaning understand of the chapterâ…¢.The variorum of the scrapes based on the scrapes types was divided into three types. Every type make scrapes as unit to interpretation the study of scholars in chronological order:The first type of scrapes are 14 pieces collected by Mr. Shang Chenzuo, which including seven with red column line, and six with black column line, otherwise a small piece without column line. The variorum according to the difference of the column line, divide the 14 pieces scrapes into 3 groups, which based on the facsimile with the same size as the pieces made by Mr. Shang.The second type of scrapes are the"Second Silk Book"scrapes mentioned in"The Exploration and Discussion of Changsha Bullets Treasury Second Silk Book"written by Mr. Li Xueqin in 1990. It is the trace other silk book (called"Second Silk Book") printed on the"Integral Silk Book"( the"Chu silk manuscripts"in this paper). The research about this type of scrapes only be read in one article written by Mr. Li at home. According to the article the facsimile can be found in articles written by Japanese scholar Mr. Lin and Austria scholar Mr. Barnard, but we still can't find out these till today. So this paper doesn't embody this type of scrapes, but embodies Mr. Li's text.The second type of scrapes are the colorful photos of 3 pieces scrapes promulgated in"Ancient Bamboo and Silk Books and Academic Origins"written by Mr. Li Ling. It's the result of that uncover bullets treasury silk book collected in United States Freer Gallery's laboratory from other scrapes since 1993. In Mr. Li Ling's article there is no interpretation about the text on the scrapes, either other scholar's research, so this paper try to make facsimiles, and do some tentative translations.
