The Study Of Characterization And Vocal Style Of Amina In Bellini's Opera La Sonnambula

Bellini, one of Italian romantic opera's "the three great people in bel cano vocal music school" in the early 19th century. And"La Sonnambula" ,which is a charming and mature work of Bellini who inheriting the tradition, imitating others and forming her own unique style in the end. At the macro level, this article put Amina into the whole opera of "La Sonnambula" to review the love story of Amina, feel Amina's inner emotional changing, and then grasp the dramatic image of Amina; at the micro, it considerate various forms of singing in "La Sonnambula" , by Amina herself, Amina's interaction with other characters and other aspects to have a comprehensive grasp of music image of Amina. Finally, from the singing skills, this paper gives a careful analysis to classic aria of Amina so as to play the role of Amina better and sing Amina concert aria.The prolegomena gives a brief introduction of the Bellini and his age, and the important position of "La Sonnambula" in Bellini's writing career as well.The body is divided into three chapters: In the first chapter, this article introduces the creative experience of Bellini and writing background of "La Sonnambula". At the same time, taking Amina as the center, it tells the epitasis of La Sonnambula ", gives a brief description to the important arias for paving the way to the following figures analysis. And then, based on the experience of Amina to grasp the emotional heart of Amina, it develops a discussion and analysis of the dramatic image of Amina from various aspects. In the second chapter, this article centers around three forms as the chorus, solo, ensemble to analysis the important arias in "La Sonnambula" on the music technique and emotional expression, and gives a brief introduction to the main singing points. In chapter III, this paper analysis the structure of Bellini's arias and grasps Bellini music language and vocal style. It divides Amina's classical arias into two major parts--Cavatina and Cabaletta. Meanwhile, analysis the detailed skills for the service of better concerts, figure shaping and interpretation of works.
