A Study On Students' Images Of Classical Chinese Novel In Qing Dynasty

This paper is on the foundation of forefathers'research results, which takes the students of classical novels in Qing Dynasty as the object of study, and begins with students' existence condition,so the paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is about the students'image of political layer, including two sections which bases on the relationship between the students and the politics . The first section is about the students who rebelled the Qing Dynasty, singing the praise of them to safeguard the justice indomitably, preserve the Han nationality's civilization. The second section is related to the students'image in the imperial examination, dissertating the Qing Government's adoption all sorts of policies to lasso people's sentiment. Thus the students falled into the trap of imperial examination .Many of them were obsessed with examination but a few had begun to realize the malpractice of the imperial examination and to break away from bondage of it.The second chapter is about the students'image of love. It is divided into three sections according to the students'love life. The first section is about good morals basing on the loyalty to their love and shows the students'personal integrity. The second section is about the students'image of searching intimate love, focusing on the process of searching love and longing for the girlfriends'understanding and love, which discourses upon the equality between male and female and the writers'compensation psychology by expressing the students'intimate love. The third section is about the students'love Utopia in the light of their social status to discuss their fantasy love story after running into a wall in the social life. With the aid of their illusion love story the students wanted to achieve their individual money emotion , dream of a official and luck of love.The third chapter is about the students'image in the social life that is divided into two sections on the basis of the changing of the traditional students'image. The first section discusses a change from a student into a business man, which reveals the inevitability for a student facing many difficulties of being a official becoming into a businessman because of the enhancement of merchants status. The second section is about the students full of vigor. In the last stage of Qing Dynasty different students'image refresh to us affected by edification of traditional Confucianism and the impact of chivalrous novels.
