A Study On Linguistic Humor In "More Talk, More Happiness"

It is worthwhile to study some lively language phenomena in our daily life.The talk show "More talk,More Happiness'featured in Hunan Economic TV Channel at the golden time on Saturday evening has come to become a popular culture in Hunan province.This thesis expores the nature,the composing mechanism of the lingusitic humor and analyzes its humorous skills and the ways to improve the local dialect languages through the study of all the six-year talk show programmes which are composed of more than 200 episodes.This article has five chapters.The introduction introduces the research subject,research object and its significance of this thesis.The first chapter points out the orientation of the nature of its lingusitic nature and identifies its difference from the.nature of comedic skits and cross-talk,etc.Namely,it is mainly intended to entertainwith its waek satire.The second chapter analyzes its composing mechanesm from the perspectives ofthe producer,the writer and the receiver and hence showsthe inner reason of the humorous language.The producer makes some changes on the daily life languagein order to entertain.Meanwhile,the receiver feels its normality and violation.In the innovativeness as well as familiarity,the receiver understands the producer's ingenuity and upgrades himself psychologically and then releases pure delight through open-minded laughter.The third chapter analyses the diversity and creativity of humor language skill according to the linguistic deviation,rhetoric and pragmatics.It's difficult for us to discuss the humor language skills thoroughly from one logistic lay for its making ways are different from each other.So we can study the skills from various ways and mainly research the frequently used skills. The fourth chapter analyses the approaches of humor localization creation.Localization is the biggest characteristic in the program "More Talk,More Happiness".We think the localization relates to the local culture,local TV styles,local pop events and news besides the dialect. Chapter three and four constitute the main body of the essay.
