John Sebastian Bach,a music giant in the European history and the greatest representation of Baroque music, is the forerunner to successfully mix different western nations' musical styles together. His music which is lively and humane, took over the musical forms of Renaissance and Baroque periods and exceeded the religious limitations limitations on the basis of the traditional culture. Back composed every musical style except operas.Brandenburg concertos which example the later period Baroque concertos has a great status in European music history. The combining of the Italian music style and German missionaries music style makes the concertos have both of the musical cultural features. Bach's concertos inherits the simplicity and flexibility of Italian concertos and some new elements are in them.The motive molody composition, using of polyphony techniques and penatretion of ternary form musical form laid a foundation for bach to create his own concertos style, which represented the new tendency of the development of the concertos.This thesis tries to have a deep of the composition techniques and creation features of Bach's concertos form the perspective of the orchestration, harmony, musical form and polyphony. The writer hopes to make readers have a full knowledge about Bach's music style.
