Adherence To Belief And Transcendence In Poetry Nature

As a poet living across modern and contemporary Chinese literature periods with his own special characteristics and charm,L(u|¨)Yuan produces many excellent poems during his almost 70 years writing career.His poetic style undergoes a series of changes along with his age growth and life experiences from immaturity in initial stage to passion and enthusiasm in middle stage then to rationalism in later stage.Each stage has its different and distinct images.This dissertation aims to explore the poet's spiritual world by studying the meaning of images in order to better understand his poems.Based on contents of pomes and references of poet's life background and experiences,the internal emotion of the poet can be found out.And special attention should be paid to the change of images in different stages and the relationship between image change and the poet's emotional development.Introduction:This part chiefly introduces L(u|¨)Yuan's achievements of poetry production and relevant researches on his poems and the writing angle and value of my dissertation.Part one:In this part,a general exploration on the concept of image is given first of all to have a clear understanding of the history and meaning of image.Then a summary of L(u|¨)Yuan's miserable and rough life is given in order to explore how these images reflect the poet's misery consciousness.Part two:This part expounds different meanings of the same image in different stages on the basis of careful study on L(u|¨)Yuan's life experiences.Following L(u|¨)Yuan's division of his poetry career,I study his poems from four specific stages:fairy tale poems,politics poems,silence poems,and poems after his reappearance.Part three:This part mainly analyzes life and mission awareness embodied in the images of L(u|¨)Yuan's poems to further explore the deep connotation of his poems.
