Research On Bourdieu's Culture Reproduction Theory

Bourdieu's culture reproduction theory occupied a unique position in the field of sociology and education.It is a socialogical analysis framework that reveals higher education inequity in modern schools.By means of a research on the relations between higher education and social mobility,Bourdieu argued that school education is not a systerm that eradicates social inequity.Instead,it produces and reproduces social inequity by "inheritance" and legislates this inequity,making it constant.Based on Bourdieu's book《Reproduce》,a classic text in higher education canon,this article presents and evaluates culture reproduction theory systematically,.The last part mainly talks about how to apply the theory into the local situation.Culture reproduction theory will be of important value to decipher higher education equity.
