The Study Of Valence Theory About The Verb "Qie" On The Basis Of The Research About The Actual Corpus

In the actual corpus,we found that "VP's" Ambiguity Index Formula can not play an effective role.Through the research,we believe that the reason which causes this kind of condition lie on deviations of our understanding of Verb Valency in the past.The Valency of Verb identified by the subject and object of the sentence,essentially is the Syntax Space provided by the sentence.This article agrees with the view of Syntax Valence Theory.We believe that the sentence has valences,and the valences of different sentence are the block informations which this kind of sentence structure can accommodated,and implementated in a specific sentence.On the other hand,this article defined the valence of the verb as a potential interdependence between the verb and subordinate components which activated by the verb and appeared in the same sentence.After materializated,the valences of a verb are the subordinate components which activated by the verb and co-occurrence with the verb. At the same time,they are also the semantic roles or the argument elements.Sentence is a concrete manifestation of the the valences of the verb,the valences reflected are part of the valences of the verb which implementated as the sentence elements in order to match the sentence.In short,We can be summed up it as that the sentence structure provide spaces and the verb provide entities,and both things interact to implementate for a specific sentence.This Article tries to make a specific analysis about the semantic roles and sentence structure which co-occurrence with the Verb"Qie" by using actual corpus,and discuss the Syntax Valence Theory and Verbal Valence Theory on the actual usage of Verb"Qie".
