Buddhist temple caves are concentrated on religion arts and also the representation of religion art. To research Buddhist grotto temple not only the archaeological study of the mission but also the task of art history. Archaeological report is an essential tool for the formation of Archaeological research materials. It has both operational scientific standards, and also aspects of the art graphics standards, but parts of the past mapping difficult to simultaneously achieve satisfactory results. Moreover, the author worked in a archaeology institute for mapping of survey and drawing many years, and now studying the postgraduate at Xian Fine Art University, the special experience of work and study makes the author have the thought of writing this topic, one reason is to solve some problems puzzled in work for many years, another is to sum up the work and study so far.
