These former residences located all over the old blocks are the precious historical and cultural legacies of Qingdao, demonstration of the development of the Modern and Contemporary History of Qingdao, one of the important content of protection of Qingdao' historical cultural city.As the famous historical relics of human resources, the celebrities' former residences will be the witness of the city's history and the soul of urban culture's sustainable development. Qingdao is famous for its celebrities' former residences, for its unique characteristics quantity and types of its construction. However, the protection and development of the celebrities' former residences is not enough. This article figures out the reality of the former residences by the investigation of more than 20 celebrities' former residences of Qingdao. At the same time, the author put forward some ideas for protection and development of Qingdao' celebrities' former residences, hoping to be helpful for the protection and development of celebrities' former residences in Qingdao.
