Zheng Shanfu And Wang Yangming's Philosophy

Zheng Shanfu,is the leader of Fujian Parnassus in the mid-Ming Dynasty,whose writing style succeeded to Du Fu.His poems were heroically tragic and got highly reviewed.He had ever participated in the campaign of Reviving old customers which was originated by Qianqizi.Then he heard of Wang Yangming's philosophy of Mentalism in Zhengde era,from then on he began to research Wang's thoughts.His idea of literature and creating activity changed greatly.His changing from Reviving old customers into Wang's philosophy had representative meaning.It is worthy of being researched.This passage begins with the background of Zheng Shanfu's changing from Reviving old customers into Wang's philosophy and tries to detailedly investigate the changing of his mind.This article contains four parts.The forward mainly introduces the present situation that the scholars'researching of the relationship between Zheng Shanfu's idea and Wang Yangming's philosophy. And concisely points out the most important problems we will discuss.The first chapter introduces two main thoughts:Reviving old customers and Wang Yangming's philosophy of Mentalism in the mid-Ming Dynasty at first.Then discusses his accepting process of Wang Yangming's philosophy in periods.And analyzes the causes which changed Zheng Shanfu's mind from different aspects.The second chaper illustrates the profound influence of Wang Yangming's philosophy on Zheng Shanfu,which includes three aspects:the state of mind,the thoughts and the creating activities.The third chapter discusses the meaning of Zheng Shanfu's from Reviving old customers into Wang Yangming's philosophy,including his literature achievements, learning attainments and the value of his life.
