The Variation Of Mongolian Vocabulary Caused By The Language Contact

The traditional language study just focused on the internal law of language development neglecting the external conditions. In fact the development of a language contributes to both internal and external factors. Based on the Chinese language contact theory this thesis briefly analyzed the influence of language contact on the development of Mongolian vocabulary and the structure of Mongolian vocabulary. Initial exploitation and analysis of the influence of language contact on Mongolian vocabulary.The whole text consists of introduction and three chapters:The introduction clarifies the reason of the subject, previous study condition, study theory and method, source of study material and significance of study.The first chapter describes the external conditions which influenced the development of Mongolian vocabulary, such as agriculture, immigration, the relationship among nationalities, cultural factors, communication factors and self condition and reason of nationality. The development of Mongolian vocabulary gave rise to loanword, replacement of vocabulary, mixed language phenomena and bilingual phenomena.The second chapter describes the development of loanword from which we can see the cultural exchange, cultural level and culture dissemination phenomena.The third chapter analyzed the influence of language contact on the development of the structure of Mongolian vocabulary and semantic meaning, which is the main part in this thesis.
