The verbal adjective expresses the action of the verb in the form of an adjective. As an adjective,it qualifies substantives.As a verb,it has a temporal aspect,can have a subject,and often takes an object.Thus,it combines all the functions of an adjective with some of the functions of a verb.Due to the diversity of grammatical functions, the verbal adjective has always been a very active and very important syntactic category in the Uyghur language grammar study.Uyghur Grammar research study on the verbal adjective has been carried out for many years,and achieved a lot.However, most of the works belong to a synchronic research.Therefore,this article from a historical point of view,mainly discusses the historical evolution of the past form verbal adjectives in Uyghur language.Trying to use synchronic method and diachronic method and the method of statistics,make clear the development and formation process of the verbal adjectives in the Uyghur language.Article is divided into five parts:the introduction section of the article mainly discusses the purpose,significance,the content and the steps and the research methods and the domestic and foreign scholars in this aspect of the survey and the research achievements and existing problems.The first part mainly introduces -duq/-dük/-tuq/-tük shape verbal adjectives.The second part mainly introduces -mi(?)/-m(?) shape verbal adjectives.The third part mainly introduces -γan/-qan/-g(a|¨)n/-k(a|¨)n shape verbal adjectives.The final of the article is a conclusion.This section summarizes the part which is introduced to solve the problems in the study,which found that the problem,and proposed the next research prospect.At the end of the article is together with reference materials.
