Qing dynasty from Kang Xi emperor to Qianlong emperor was very powerful, with the economy growing, the art and culture also became prosperous. The imperial court painting served and belonged to the emperor. From Kang Xi's dynasty to Qianlong's Dynasty, there were many narrative painting appeared, and the political theme painting were the most important part of it. The Qing dynasty political theme painting provide us social, economy, military, culture comprehensive value. It gave contemporary of China a reference, as the deeply meaning of the politics. The reason for political theme painting of the Qing court became prosperous have two aspects. First, the emperors of the early Qing paid great attention to propagandize their self-image and the greatness of their country. Second, the missionary from Europe brought western painting, and it was realistically to image the dynasty.The political theme paintings of Qing court were a part of the Qing court art, but their production had particular mode. The appearance, development and prosperity of these political painting were correspond with the society and imperial taste. Under the historical conditions, the style of the political theme painting of Qing court had been changing all the time. The paper has three parts, the first part is a general introduction of political theme paintings of Qing court from Kang Xi emperor to Qianlong emperor. The second is about the painting institution of Qing court, court painters and the particular production mode of political theme paintings of Qing court. The Last part is to study the style of political theme paintings of Qing court. There were three dynasties, and each dynasty had its own style. The paper aims to study the reasons of the changing style in the three dynasties. These paintings exactly recorded great achievements of Qing Dynasty.In this paper, first, adapt the philology and physical research methods to study, from the philology, to search concerned information, analyzed the political history of painting and other related records carding, these data mainly from the files of official records, also physical antitheses study carried out. Second, from the points of history, sociological etc., we can analyze the significance of the society and history for these political paintings. Finally, to analyze the form of the style for the political art of painting, and the achievement they got.
