Studies On Chinese Characters And Variant Forms Of Chinese Characters Since The First Batch Of Tabulated Variant Forms Of Chinese Characters Was Published

Since the first batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters was published,some national department developed "the second batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters (first draft)" and "assorting table of variant forms of Chinese characters(revised version)","the second of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters(draft of seeking views)" and so on. After the last century of the fifties ,study and assorting on the first batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters were published one after the other. But this three tables wasn't formally published,except wang jun and gao gengsheng's article is concerned, up to now, one can find no study. So the work that studies on Chinese characters and variant forms of Chinese characters since the first batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters was published is necessary to continue to study deeply.This article thoroughly investigates the correspondences in the sense of both pronunciation and meaning between the"selected characters "and the"variant forms of character ,598 groups(766little groups) of characters in the second batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters(first draft), top 100 groups of assorting table of variant forms of Chinese characters(revised version), 209 groups of the second tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters(draft of seeking views)based on the pronunciations and meanings listed in "Hanyu Dazidian" (《汉语大字典》). This article could serve as a reference for summarizing the achievements and mistakes in the work of tabulating variant forms of Chinese characters , as well as for developing Table of Standardized Chinese Characters.The thesis consists of 6 parts:Part 1 is introduction. In this part, it gives a brief introduction about the reason of variant forms of Chinese characters producing, it's definition, importance of assorting, and significance of the thesis.Part 2 is a review on assorting of variant forms of Chinese Characters. This part make a brief review on this work in history and the founding of the early and introduce the background of this three table.Part 3 is quantitative analysis and experience lessons on the second batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters (first draft). Quantitative analysis has been done for the tabulated identical variant forms, inclusive variant forms, overlapping"variant forms", erroneous"variant forms" and their respective subcategories ; some crucial problems in the table have been pointed out based on the investigation and analysis based on the pronunciations and meanings listed in " Hanyu Dazidian"(《汉语大字典》).Each type has been specifically illustrated and all the examples of each type have been demonstrated with no left.compare it with the first batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters about principles and approaches of assorting and summarize its experience lessons.Part 4 is summary, quantitative analysis, experience and lessions of basal complexion on assorting table of variant forms of Chinese characters(revised version).As a result of limited time, analysis is only to the top 100 groups of characters. It is helpful to summarize its experience lessons comparing with the first two tables.Part 5 is summary, quantitative analysis, experience and lessions of basal complexion on "the second tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters(draft of seeking views).It is different from the first three tables, its layout is assoeted and it contains four parts, for example,recension on the first batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters, This article makes quantitative analysis and summarize experience lessons about every part.Part 6 is conclusion. It is a conclusion of studies on Chinese characters and variant forms of Chinese characters since the first batch of tabulated variant forms of Chinese characters was published. In it, study conclusions and some deficiency of this study work have been stated.
