A Study To The Narration Of Contemporary American Cartoon

Contemporary American animation is welcomed by the people all around the world for its interesting story, delicate modelling and humorous narration, and it's also on the leadership of world animation industry.This thesis aimed to disclose the secret of telling stories of contemporary American animation by a brief introduction to the history and Status quo of American animation, a systematic summary of the narration characteristics of contemporary American animation and a detailed survey on the ecological narration of it. Then forward the idea that we should encourage diversified narration in animation, and focus our attention on narration. After studying the narration of contemporary American animation we get the inspiration as following: domestic animation should tell Chinese stories, that is to say, to create animations with Chinese ingredients, and try to mix entertainment with education. That is the way for Chinese animation to be known throughout the world.
