Jinpingmei Cihua is a saga novel written in the middle of Ming Dynasty, which the language used in Shandong dialects. It can be served as a database for a research because its language basically reflects the language used in the period of history. The study on Aspect particles found in Jinpingmei Cihua has great significance and important referential value either to the study on Aspect particles of Chinese or to the study on grammer history of Chinese.Although the study on Aspect particles in Jinpingmei Cihua has lots of achievements at present, they are only fragmently and unsystematic studies, which usually focused on someone of Aspect particles. So far, there hasn't been any achievement in a study where Aspect particles should been entirely examined. This paper aims at an entire examination on Aspect particles in Jinpingmei Cihua. During the presention, focus is on the research of Aspect particles, such as "Jiang, Zhe, Le, Guo, De". By examining the grammatical structure in which Aspect particles existed, this paper has tried to give an entire examination on the Auxilary Words of Tense in Jinpingmei Cihua by making analysis the grammatical meaning under differcent situations, together with making statistical analysis which is the very useful method in the study. This paper consists of seven parts.Chapter 1. Preface. It consists of the explains of the definition of Pre-modern Chinese, a brief review of the studies of Aspect particles conducted by previous scholars, an introduce of Jinpingmei Cihua even the present studies on its Aspect particles, and an explaination of the significance of resons chosing this topcic and the methodology used in this study.Chapter 2. Aspect particle:Jiang. As one of Aspect particles, Jiang usually comes out behind the Verbs to be Complementizer, or indicates the beginning of the act together with the Object. It tries to analyze the grammatical form to examine the grammatical meaning and make statistical analysis, moreover, to explain the causes. Chapter 3. Aspect particle:Zhe. Zhe comes out behind the Verbs to indicate the progressing of the act or the continous of the state of affairs. It tries to analyze the grammatical form which Zhe existed in and make statistical analysis, in adition, to examine the grammatical meaning and to explain the reasons.Chapter 4. Aspect particle:Le. Le comes out behind the Verbs to indicate the consummation of the act, which the grammatical form its exsited in is familiar to its in the Modern Chinese. It tries to analyze the grammatical form to examine the grammatical meaning and make statistical analysis.Chapter 5. Aspect particle:Guo. As one of the Auxilary Words, Guo has two different types. One means the consummation of the act, the other means affairs occurred in the past. It tries to analyze the grammatical form to examine the grammatical meaning and make statistical analysis.Chapter 6. Aspect particle:De. De comes out behind the Verbs, meaning the results could been achived or the continuous of state in some cases. It tries to analyze the grammatical form to examine the grammatical meaning which De existed in and make statistical analysis, besides, to explain the reasons.Chapter 7. Aspect particles in Jinpingmei Cihua. It tries to analyze the difference among the Aspect particles grammatical forms, besides, tries to analyze the adhesive ability of the Aspect particles.
