View The Transformations Of Chinese Urban Life Style In Terms Of Costumes, Movies And Songs (1966-the 1980's)

The costume movies and songs in China's period of Cultural Revolution and the three aspects in China's early 1980's are the main research objective of this essay. The simple lives in China's period of Cultural Revolution were elaborated in terms of these three aspects which are much more relevant to people's daily life. Firstly the background of Cultural Revolution and the people's three aspects of social life were introduced in the first chapter. Secondly China's crucial political transition in 1976 and the changes in people's daily life were presented in the second chapter. The contrast and analysis are made in the third part which also includes the selections of verbal documents and memoirs of the involved people. Then in the forth part consumptions were made:it is wrong to politicalize people's social life and the government should put people in the first place in any cases. People's feelings cannot be neglected.The key point of this essay is highlighting the negative impact that politicization exerted for all readers. Cultural Revolution is a special incident in Chinese history, valuable lessons should be learnt from ten years' Cultural Revolution so as to create China's promising future.
