The Observation Of Shen Congwen's Theory Of Moral Literature

Shen congwen locates himself as a villager, who create in a marginal person`s view, express his strong criticism about"modern people"and the praise of"beauty"and"love", which form a special ideology of literature. The observation from moral can grasp the trait about his spiritual world and the specific conten of creation.Firstly, the text starts from the conception of moral, analyses the proposition and development about the conception of"villager", investigates its moral content,and highlight Shen congwen`s self-identity of his moral status. Secondly, by analysing Shen congwen`s literary ethics main content, it concludes the criticism for urban elite`s culture to demonstrate divine moral and give prominence to beauty that beyonds the real utility and love that induces the nature`s emtion. Thus, all things and I merge together, which become a kind of ontological exitence. Thirdly, there are two key words to analyse Shen congwen`s literary ethic—nature and abstract. Nature lay a foudation in his literary ethic, anima will return nature, which means simple, not generalization, primary. Abstract has the significance of methodology, it can beyond the trammels of real life, try to build the new moral. Shen congwen is not a moralist, and he is lack of detailed discussion about moral,but he is a person who has personal integrity and pursue life. So,his literary ethic always run through the special moral, that is, pay more attention to life, look forward to the harmony between life and nature, and it is full of vitality,which reappear the creativity of national culture.
