The Study On The Poetry Of Ningbo In Qing Dynasty

Ningbo , as a very old, famous country on the east of Zhejiang province, enjoy profound culture and simple customs. The literators in Ningbo of Qing dynasty are well read, conversant with ancient and modern learning. The advantage of geography and relationship enhanced the interaction between these literators. Ningbo's poetry entered prosperity in the Qing dynasty and have a brightly regionality characteristic.The early Qing literators affected by Huang Zongxi deeply. The style of their poetry turned from Jingling school to Songshi school. They advocated disposition, their poetry filled with grief and indignation. Their potery cried of their depressive individual life. The poems expressed their strong feeling on the old country and the prosperity and decline of a dynasty. The poetry have a powerful strength and distinct spirit of times. At the mid-Qing, under the influnce of textology, the style of poetry corresponding with the style of study which emphasize the Confucianism classics and history. The literators of Ningbo advocated that enchased the knowledge in their potery which made their poetry rational and euphemistic. In late Qing dynasty, the poets restore ancient ways, they advaocate the style of the poetry in Han,Wei dynasty and also take the other former poetry style into account. The poets pursue the literary style theory in peotry and they believe the poetry is a carrier of the poet's emotion too.Thus paving a especial way for a poetry which incorporates konwledge with temperament.In the dynasty of Dao,Xian, the Ningbo poets'communication and potery have a close relationship with the literators who persist in Jing Shi literary trend. So, the poetry during this period gradully get rid of the disadvantage what impose restrictions on the poets and break away from the general trend with the time. Finally, the poetry form a style of focusing on reslism, life and blazing new trails.Based on the above key points, this paper will try to provide a regional literature perspective, literary criticism to clear line of the important poets and poetry style of Ningbo in Qing dynasty.
