Study On Reduplication Patterns In Yuanping Dialect

Reduplication is an important word-building means of modern Chinese, which has been highly academic attention. According to different parts of speech, the paper gives a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the reduplication patterns in Yuanping dialect form four aspects.The research methods adopted by the present study are investigation,comparison and induction.The specific language survey completely and systematic research the reduplication of Yuan ping dialect.In content,the whole paper can be divided into eight major parts. And Chaptersâ… -â…¥are the subject of the paper.Each chapter studies from four aspects, including constituting form,pronunciation,grammar and semantic.The introduction describes overview of Yuan ping City, ownership of Yuan ping dialects, research status of Yuan ping dialect and markers used in this article. The first chapter studies nouns reduplication of Yuan ping dialect. There are six types:AA,AAB,ABB,ge AA,AABB and ABCC.They all have noun's grammar function.The second chapter studies the reduplication patterns of adjectives. There are "the patterns of AA ya, A liao A,AXYY,AXX,XAA,AABB,ABAB,XAXB,XAXB,AB bu AB,A li AB" and so on.Compared with the basic type, the reduplication are more descriptive and vivid. Most reduplication have functions of variety words type, as subject, predicate, object, attribute, and complement in the sentence. Chapterâ…¢to chapterâ…¦one by one study reduplication patterns of verbs, adverbs, quantifiers, numerals, onomatopoeia. They mainly exhaustively collect external form and usage of all kinds of reduplication patterns of the dialect, especially in some special configuration and usage. Specific discussion concentrates word-building, pronunciation, grammar, semantic. In pronunciation, the thesis study the changes of tone after reduplication; in semantic, it pays attention to the changes of the semantic before reduplication and after reduplication; in grammar, reduplication patterns can act what elements in the sentence. This paper finally describes the reduplications of proverbs and riddles in Yuan ping dialect and Appendixes phonology.This paper studies real fields from language facts of Yuan ping dialect beginning, the study of older generation as theoretical basis. Author hope that the study of this problem can help us to know Yuan ping dialect and Shanxi dialect.
