Integrating with the needs of Mongolian information processing the thesis investigates the issues that Mongolian compound nouns dominate quantifiers and describes their dominant rule by formal methods.The thesis is made up of six parts, such as the introduction, the first chapter, the second chapter, the third chapter, conclusion and reference books etc.The introduction describes the reasons of the subject, the research situation and the scope of choosing materials.The first chapter states the prerequisite that compound nouns dominate quantifiers, characteristics and functions of quantifiers, the conditions that quantifiers restrict compound nouns and the semantic classification of quantifiers.The second chapter expounds the semantic classification of compound nouns.The third chapter analyzes the condition that compound nouns dominate quantifiers and describes their dominant rule by formal methodsThe conclusion summarizes the content of the thesis.
