| Serial music implicit learning include the study of music rhythm learning and pitch learning which will be a new research aspect in implicit learning. In this research, the clock and mirror rule of serial music will be used to test the ability of pitch and rhythm learning. Those issues will be discussed in the research, including if the complex and precise rule can be learned by the participants;There are four experiments in this research.In the first experiment, we use Chinese tone as the experiment material. The present experiment uses abstract rule, which test materials are totally different with study materials but it accord with implicit rule as the basis of implicit learning in order to research if the participants can learning the clock rule hiding in the serial music. None effect is found is this experiment.In the second experiment, we use normal four rhythm and unusual three rhythm as the experiment material. The present experiment uses example rule as the basis of implicit learning, which test materials are some same with study materials and it accord with implicit rule in order to research if the participants can learning the mirror rule hiding in the serial music and research the difference between these two rhythm styles. We found that there are sig. effect between four rhythm and three rhythmIn the third experiment, we use normal four rhythm and unusual three rhythm as the experiment material. The present experiment uses fragment rule as the basis of implicit learning, which test materials are totally same with study materials and it accord with implicit rule in order to research if the participants can learning the mirror rule hiding in the serial music and research the difference between these two rhythm styles.We found that there are edge effect in three rhythm.In the forth experiment, we use normal four rhythm and unusual three rhythm as the experiment material. The present experiment uses abstract rule as the basis of implicit learning in order to research if the participants can use the limited clue to learning the mirror rule hiding in the serial music and research the difference between these two rhythm styles. We found that there are sig. effect in three rhythm.In the last experiment, we use the unusual three rhythm as the experiment material. The present experiment uses abstract rule as the basis of implicit learning. And we also add two times groups such as 3/4 & 5/4 in order to research if the participants can use the limited clue to learning the mirror rule hiding in the serial music and research the difference between these three rhythm times. We found that 4/4 is better then 3/4 and 3/4 is better then 5/4. |
