Li Tang Dynast was times with highly prosperous culture and art. And ornamental art also had reach the top. All kinds of ornemental elements were used anywhere at that time, and conformed perticular style. Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes is a typical case. It is usefule for the study on the style and development of ornemental art in the Tang Dynasty.The Cave 14 in Later Tang of Mogao Grottoes is a special one to reveal the ornemetal are in Tang Dynasty.The thesis studies the cave in details with the method of case analysis.The thesis involves five chapters.Chapterâ… mainly reviews the academic history about Cave 14. Chapter V analyses aesthetic scope of Tang Dynasty and the infulunce on the visual perception and psychological feeling from adornment effect,and then analyses the design concept at the beginning in the angle of aesthetics.
