From 2000 to 2009 comedic films in The Mainland of China continue to develop after inheriting the thoughts of that in the end of the 20th century, but rarely break, even appear nothing new in the condition of copying after copying. During this period the comedic movies lack of comedic sense and spirit, most of them just cease to the purely superficial level of amusement, and amusing approach is traditional and vulgar without creativity and taste. This paper reviews these films in a critical attitude, read and analyze them mainly via text interpretation and theoretical analysis on the level of aesthetic acceptance, while interpreting and evaluating them in the context of film history. At the same time this dissertation compare them to the classic Western comedic film as a positive case while contemplate theoretically through the Hollywood classic film theories.The main text divide into five chapters, of which the first chapter discusses of viewers acceptance of the comedy films, especially the cognitive and feelings; The second, third and fourth chapters analyze that the ten years of the new century, China comedic films how to set up comedic feature, what kind of story the comedic films narrative and the way of narration, highlighting the defects and deficiencies. Before the specific interpretation of the problem, each chapter firstly discourse theoretically upon the successful cases of the classic comedy film and the latest theoretical research results about this question, hence establish a benchmark to the concerned problem so that study the gap between them and the mainland comedic films. The fifth Chapter put forward some feasible advices and ways to solve the problems which exist in the Mainland comedy.In thesis'opinion that the study of comedic type in the contemporary films can not only touch mostly directly the modern folk aesthetic taste and modern comedic sense, but will have a positive meaning to the current typical writing of comedic films.
