| Proudhon's thought of anarchism once exerted great influece on international labor movement and socialist thoughts. On the one hand, Proudhon stressed individuality and opposed to govermental authority, assimilating the idea from liberalism and Stirnen's anarchism proposition. On the other hand, he absorbed some elements from socialist thoughts, hence strongly against the capitalist private property. Predicated on the two aspects, he presented his unique anarchism and social reform programs. Defining freedom from a brand-new perspective, he proposed to build "the Bank of people", practice mutualism and ferderalism centered on "the Contract" and establish an anarchic society based on personal possession. Considering the fact the study on Proudhon and his idea has suffered from long-term neglect in China, this paper attempts to have a tentative discussion of his idea with the purpose to derive some new idea. |
