| In the mid-late part of the Warring States Period, wars were frequent, Tao and moral values declined, people trampled and industries depressed. Chuang Tzu upheld the savoir-faire of complying with nature and empty-hearted attitude to face the social situation. His life style is complied with nature and society, forgetting his own body, wisdom, honor, reality, interests,objects and even himself.He achieved peripateticism realm of independence, inaction and empty-hearted attitude through these ways, which rooted in Tao.In this thesis, the author uses historical, logical and systematical methods to reveal the relationships among Chuang Tzu's key concepts of Tao, peripateticism, independence, inaction,and analyzes different levels of his philosophy of life skills of his background, ways, realm, and Tao so that people can be easy to grasp and experience it.The spirit of Tao penetrates the whole thesis. Actually, there was a troubled time of Tao and moral values declined first, which is the starting point and fundament. Therefore, in this situation, Chuang Tzu has his own ways and realm to adjust the society. Moreover, his ultimate destination is consistent with Tao. The spirit of Tao is popular and everywhere, however, it is just a social idealism of Chang Tzu. |
