Study The Narrative Time Of Micro-fiction

As a rising star of recent years, the development of the Micro-fiction has become more and more prosperous. Time is the key and a basic element of a fiction which is used to narrate the whole Micro-fiction. Therefore, this paper selects the last five years, "Micro-Stories" as the main object of study, try to study the micro-fiction from the perspective of narrative time.The characteristics of Micro-fiction in narrative time are mainly in three aspects:Concentration, inclusivity and deficiency. All of the three characteristics have a close relationship with the feature of the Micro-fiction----"short". The structure of Micro-fiction in narrative time includes three types:horizontal display, general type and length of vertical mosaic. But no matter what type, the author just wants to show a broader aesthetic view to the readers within the limited passage. Micro-fiction narrative sequence usually use the following three approaches, Flashback, Pre-classification approach and Timing flexibility. According to these ways, fiction can be more vivid, moving and colorful. In the interval, the main speeding up processing with a summary, omission (which is used to speed up the scene) and the main slowing down processing with scenes and pause can give readers different feelings, which not only increase some more effective formation, but also keep the fiction fresh and lively. Eager to change, rapid and brief rhythm are characteristics of the Micro-fiction, which is dependent on the stylistic features and aesthetic function. Suspense and repeating the rhythms are the two main ways to control the rhythms in micro-fiction. Its unique beauty of rhythms add vitality of micro-fiction. Time in micro-fiction works, has a unique feature, which has a close relationship with the characters, plot, and the environment. It also plays an important part in shaping the character image, promoting the story and creating time and space environment. Micro-fiction narrative has different characteristics from the novel about processing time, which is mainly in the span of time and space and history of volume. The art of the fictions' analysis between Eastern and Western micro-narrative are different too. The former prefers to describe stories in the time order while the latter likes pre-Syria flashback. Ancient and modern micro-fiction shows cultural inheritance relations in personalized narrative time.
