| Along with development of the society, one of the Chinese traditional instruments-Guzheng has been even closer to our daily lives. It plays a significant role for citizens in culture and entertainment perspectives. Nowadays, more and more people choose to learn Guzheng. There is a variety of Guzheng training courses, and art schools everywhere. The writer has six years Guzheng teaching experience, and do had a feeling of the increased number of adults among the Guzheng students. However, some of the teachers still use the same teaching method as for kids. Whereas, adults are different from teenagers and kids, in terms of physical and psychological conditions. As a result, the adults are facing lots of problems in the learning process. Most of them can not carry on in the end.This paper aims on adult Guzheng students. It includes those who love music but not have been received professional musical education. The adults are in varied age groups. Also, they have different situations, learning purposes, and levels. First of all, in the city of Shijiazhuang, the writer studies the number and proportion of the adult learners. Based on these statistics, along with the self-teaching experiences, the writer summarized the features of the adults learning Guzheng and those learners themselves. Move forward a step of analysis of real teaching case study, combined with the particularity of Guzheng playing, the adult learners'physical and psychological characteristics have been studied. Then the writer has a rational consideration:summarizing the special features of Guzheng teaching in terms of teaching principle, plan, method, and module. Finally, the implications and significances of adults learning Guzheng would proved by real cases. |
