| Today cultural is becoming diversity, Calligraphy also shows a picture of unprecedented prosperity and the strong momentum of development. In the context of the new era, there is no doubt that, the exhibition plays an irreplaceable role in promoting the development of calligraphy. The research about calligraphy, the "exhibition" and "gallery culture" has become a major and urgent task to most calligraphers and scholars. The "exhibition" as a new thing, compared to the ancient art of calligraphy, how many pros and cons, it is difficult to sum up in a word. This paper tries to present the exhibition itself and the relationship between calligraphy and exhibition, in order to find the rule from the exhibition of contemporary calligraphy .And the most important thing is making an exploratory thinking about Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy.This paper argues that the exhibition as a new thing, as it appears in the constantly changing social environment, it has historic significance. Because, in a sense, the exhibition has become"a booster"of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphy, though, in the context of contemporary calligraphy exhibition, the connotations of the extension have inevitable made unacceptable change. Based on the theory that things is growing all the time, the author learn from the large amounts of data and the phenomenon and try to sum up the inseparable relationship between the exhibition and contemporary calligraphy . In the social atmosphere of "the pursuit of visual effects and quick success", the contemporary calligraphy can not escape the Golden Age scene------ the "window-dressing" surface.It is undeniable that the progress of time promotes contemporary Chinese calligraphers to unconsciously inject more fresh elements to the calligraphic, and this makes calligraphy shows great development, which is difficult to appear in history. Exhibition affects calligrapher's tendentiousness of creation, as well has a direct impact on the aesthetic taste. In the exhibition hall time contemporary calligraphers are facing unprecedented challenges.The article discusses in the following four aspects: first, making a comprehensive survey on the development of the last three decades calligraphy and the current situation of Chinese calligraphy ,in order to have a macro grasp the current calligraphy; Second, it focuses on the graveness current Calligraphy exhibition, sums up the conclusions according to the phenomenon, discusses the impact of exhibition to contemporary calligraphy in detail, and gives a preliminary criticism on calligraphic circles under the context of exhibition; Third, making a summary combined with the assessment of representative contemporary of the exhibition, and then extended to the contemporary standards of calligraphy, then analyze the many contradictions between calligraphers and judger ,at last extend to the living state of "calligraphy" ; forth, by carding and concluding these issues to drawn thoughtful conclusions. |
