The "Jinzi" Role Analysis And The Research Singing Treatment Of Opera "weald"

Opera"Weald"is a classic in contemporary music history. The reason for the success of"Weald"is that, it expresses the complex, contradictory psychology of people in the opera through movement, chanting, performance forms, so as to show the audience many images both artistic and realistic on the stage. This thesis studies the heroine in this opera---Jinzi, and analyzes comprehensively this heroine's image and her classic arias in this opera. The thesis has five main parts, they are:The first part of the thesis is the preface.It mainly states the status, the value, the puspose and the significance of Opera "The Weald", it also states the research status and tendency of this study.The second part is the outline of the opera"weald". This chapter is divided into four main points. The first point is a brief introduction of this opera and its author Mr. Cao Yu; the second point is the background of this opera; the third point is to analyze the music features of this opera; the fourth point is the inspiration of this opera to the development of Chinese Opera in a new period.The third part is the comprehensive analysis of the image of"Jinzi". This chapter is divided into three main points. Firstly, it is a brief introduction to the origin of this role. Secondly, it is the analysis of this image from two aspects---drama and music, the artistic image of gold. Thirdly, it is to discuss the main status and functions of this role.The fourth part is the analysis of three soprano arias---"Oh, dark day,""Ah, my brother"and"you hit me"from the professional aspect. The thesis studies the requirement on singers from tone, volume, tone, breath, figure and so forth.The fifth part is the conclusion of the whole thesis, it shares some experience of the author on this opera and summarizes the analysis of the heroine in this opera. Opera"Weald"shows a bold innovation of the composer, as well as the attention of appreciation of our nation's aesthetic practices and contemporary rules; it tries to find the balance between the new forms of music and appreciation. Hereby the opera"Weald"laid a solid foundation of Chinese opera in the new period.
