Research On Decorative Patterns Shape Of Qingyang Sachet

This paper has presented an in-depth and systemic study on decorative patterns shape of Qingyang sachets including three aspects as below:the basic forms of the decorative patterns, modeling rules as well as the cultural connotations of these rules. This research has filed in the gap and accounted the theory system of Qingyang sachets. The study results can provide a reference for the current product shape design of Qingyang sachets, also can promote a development of traditional Chinese art, especially offering a helping hand for the exchange in a much wider arena.In the study of the basic forms of the decorative patterns, the methods of case studying and inducting were adopted. By analyzing the whole forms of flower and fruit patterns, the form characteristics of the plants'were summarized, and by analyzing the whole forms of winged and non-winged patterns, the form characteristics of the animals'were summarized, next by analyzing the whole forms of children and adult patterns, the form characteristics of the people'were summarized, and then by analyzing the whole forms of regular and irregular geometric patterns, the form characteristics of the geometric were summarized, finally the basic form laws of Qingyang sachets'decorative patterns were found.In the study of modeling rules of the decorative patterns, the methods of comparing and sampling were adopted. By comparing and analyzing the used patterns and combination modes of the sachets with single kind pattern, and by comparing and analyzing the used patterns and combination modes of the sachets with two kind patterns, next by comparing and analyzing the used patterns and combination modes of the sachets with three kind patterns, and then by comparing and analyzing the used patterns and combination modes of the sachets with four kind patterns, the modeling laws of above four kinds of pattern'ones were obtained, finally the modeling rules of Qingyang sachets'the decorative patterns were observed.In the study of the cultural connotations of modeling rules, the methods of case studying and correlation analysising were adopted. By analyzing the relationship between shared shape, shape in shape, composited shape and Confucianist, Taoist moral thought, and by analyzing the relationship between requesting long life, sons, loves shaping and Confucianist, Taoist moral thought as well as folklore, next by analyzing the relationship between shape by sound and Confucianist as well as folklore moral thought, then by analyzing the relationship between shape by moving and Confucianist as well as folklore moral thought, finally the cultural connotations of the four above modeling rules were founded.In conclusion, the basic forms of the decorative patterns are as below:there are planar or tridimensional, side looking or down looking, static or dynamic, single or group, realism or impressionism, exaggeration or personification. And the four modeling rules of the decorative patterns are respectively shape by shape, shape by meaning, shape by sound and shape by moving. Meanwhile, there are several cultural connotations contained in above four modeling rules, for example, Confucianist thought including:moderation, theory that man is an integral part of nature, rank concept, filial piety, borrowing others, going into society, changing, dancing, Taoist thought including:preserving health and folklore moral thought including: preferring sons to daughters, adoring ghosts and gods, carrying on the family line, seeking perfect, money, luck and passing away evil.
