ON THE TECHNICAL INNOVATION OF GUANGXI'S POLAR INDUSTRY AND THE CORRESPONDING COUNTERMEASURES——AN ANAL YSIS ON THE TECHNICAL INNOVATION OF THE SUGAR CANE INDUSTRY IN GUANGXI

Polar industry decides the economic strength and competence of a country or region in the world, without which there would be no tack of the modernized economy. Proceeding from the problems existing in Guangxi's polar industry, the dissertation attempts to discuss the way out of for rejuvenation of the region's sugar──cane industry with a view to arising people's awareness of the importance of technical innovation so as to promote the sugar──cane industry into a real polar of local national economy. The thesis approaches this research in five chapters, including four main parts. The first chapter expounds on the necessity, content and function of the technical innovation of the polar industry, based on the relevant theories. The second chapter analyses the current situation, problems and prospects of the sugar──cane industry in Guangxi. The third chapter dwells on the innovation mechanism, namely the mechanism of motion, operation and assurance, and the relevant models for innovation mechanism, with reference to the successful domestic and foreign experience in the field. Then the countermeasures concerned are proposed in the fourth chapter proceeding from the current situations and problems in Guangxi. In the last chaPter some suggestions are putforward after a concrete analysis on some representative sugar---makingenterprises.The research is carried out in the spirit of close integration of theorywith practice with consideration to the substantial positive analysis,which may contribute to the enrichment of theories in the polar industryand technical innovation, and provide some help to the governmentaldecision----makers in the field of technical innovation.
