In the recent years, with the rapid development, the middle-small size bank make an active role in the financing field and economic growth. However, the strategic positioning of the middle-small size bank is not clear , and it's operating key point is just the same as the state-owned bank, are the reasons that prevent it from turning it's system strengths into competitive strength. As China is going to be a member of WTO, the middle-small size banks will face the direct challenges from the foreign banks. So it is a hot topic in the banking field that how to make strategic decisions that meet with the middle-small size banks. Under this background, this thesis, organized into four chapters, tries to make a preliminary probe into the Strategic Positioning Analysis of the internal middle-small size banks.Chapter 1 is the outline of the strategic positioning, mainly including the definition of Strategic Cost Management and Strategic positioning, and the critical ideas of Strategic positioningChapter 2 makes the analysis into the internal middle-small size banks With SWOTChapter 3 is the key part of this thesis, in this chapter, based on the analysis of Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat of the internal middle-small size banks, we discuss the Differential Strategy with the related measures.Chapter 4 We discuss how to vary the form and structure of control systems in accordance with variation in generic strategic contexts.
