A Study of Trade and Policy of the Integration Development of Forestry and Paper-making Industry in ChinaWu Junqi (Forestry Economy Management) Directed by Prof. Huang HeyuSince China's reforming and opening outside, China is already the third largest country in the world in production and consumption of paper pulp and paper. However, compared with the high level of developed countries and the huge demand in the domestic market, China's paper industry is still far from to satisfy the general demand of social economic development.The integration development of forestry and paper-making industry(IDFPI) is not only the successful experience earned from international paper industry, but is even more determined by the profile of the country and forest in China. The establishment of the forest sites of paper-making industry, can not only ensure the raw material supply to the industry and reduce the production cost, but also can accelerate the greenness of the country land, increase the forest resources, ensure the ecological security and realize the sustainable management of forest.This paper, according to the theory of exchange cost and forest sustainable management, makes an analysis on the situation and direction of IDFPI in China, One conclusion is achieved in the end that the major problem existing in the development of integration of forestry and paper-making industry can be better resolved by IDFPI, by vigorously expanding the wood pulp production and enhancing the development of forestry and paper-making industry, therefore to solve the contradiction between the quantity and quality of supply and demand in the paper market.
