Research On Development Of The Enterprise Competitive Advantage

This thesis is a summary of the thinking on during the study as a MBA. Its basic objective is to seek an operable method for developing and advancing the enterprise competitive advantage. Competitive advantage as the core of research in strategy management has never been changed, and the discussion on the advantage is of great academic value. Furthermore, it is significant for Chinese enterprises to study how to develop the enterprise competitive advantage.By means of systems analysis method and "issue-oriented" study method, the thesis discusses the approach to developing the enterprise competitive advantage. Developing an enterprise's competitive advantage can start with surveying customers and step up along forming the advantages in the process of creating the customers' value, the process of transferring that value, and so on. It is crucial to create its predominance in the storage amount of resource and capacity when an enterprise develops the above-mentioned two kinds of advantage, according to the idea that the enterprise competitive advantage originates in the storage amount of resource and capacity.As far as the thesis concerned, the strategies of enhance the advantage for the enterprise which have the core competencies are summed as: to aim at the customers and based on the core competencies to develop the core products, and also to harmonize the value chain with outsourcing. As the enterprises, whichhave not formed the core competencies, the main duty of developing enterprise advantage is to set up the core competencies, and the strategies are the following summary: When pursing competitive advantage intcrgradcd, to choice the key breakthrough, which should be stated as the bases of developing the enterprise advantage.This theory has been implemented on the study of developing the enterprise competitive advantage in Xinchen Power Mechanical Ltd., Co. case. Some proposals for operation are derived from the practice.In the thesis exploratory work is done mainly in two respects: examining the operative approach and method to developing enterprise competitive advantage, bringing customers into the analysis of developing enterprise competitive advantage.
