The commercial bank culture is an important part of the corporate culture. It exists in every commercial bank objectively. In Planned Economy ages, our commercial bank is just the admixture of the machinery of government and business enterprise. Real modern commercial bank has not formed. So-called commercial bank culture is just some practice of tradition and habit. After reforming and opening, our commercial bank culture experienced three stages: spontaneous use for reference, low-tide stagnation and deep development. Now it is in the period of complete development. In more than twenty years of reforming practices, the development of our commercial bank culture has obtained some experience. But because our commercial bank system is not perfect and the accumulation of economy and culture is not seriously enough, there are many problems about the development of our commercial bank culture. Especially our country under the background of global economy, a large number of foreign capital commercial banks flowed into our country, which made our commercial bank culture face serious challenge. This paper contrasts and analyzes the characteristics of the Chinese and Foreign commercial bank culture, induces the opportunity and challenge that face our commercial bank culture, and put forward that only by establishing the commercial bank culture adapting to the ages' characteristics, achieving the management mode of common development of human resources management and mechanism management and giving priority to human resources management, can we strengthen the team work and the group consciousness and adapt to the financial globalization as soon as possible.
