The technology agents are so critical in the whole process of technological marketization for they connect the demands and the supplies and can be the points where technology and economy can get connected. At the same time, they have become the significant channels for technological entering the market and they propel the technological marketization. However, the theory on the technology agents has never been bonded with the practice in China by now. Thus, the development of them is lack of the guidance of relative theory.First of all, the article compounds the technological marketization analyzing the mechanism on the originating of the technology agents. The essence of the technology marketization lies in the process of transferring technology from the latent productivity to the practical direct productivity. This process is the connection of five sub processes, which influence technology directly, and four gaps which influence technology indirectly and are the crucial. The connection is the same as the process of providing technology so the three-the technology itself, the supplier and the demander consist of the factors restraining the technological marketization. And the counteracting among them decides the eventual effect mainly. As the result, the bridges between them for communication must be set up in order to improve the effect. According to such requirement the technology agents come to the market. They are the organizations that urge the demander adopt and implement the latest technology by connecting the supplier and the demander.The prerequisite is to classify the technology agents definitely while it is not so easy that there is no uniform definition till now. And this article proposes that they can be put into three types according to such a standard - their different functions: the transaction platform, the transferring agent and the tech-incubator. Then compare the specific formation, the service, the features and the resource of the profits of them. And the analysis of the development of the typical agents respectively is also put forward.The article points out the problems existing in the development of the technology agents and analyzes from two angles as follows: the international situation and trend of the technology agents and the inner rules for the process of the technological marketization. Then the orientation is to establish such an organization to supply full service with enterprising operation. To improve the current incubators is the most efficient way to get the development. Finally, take the incubator as an example combining with the successful international precedent operational mode and the article concludes the practical suggestions for development and the necessary internal environments from the five aspects-the subject structure of property rights, the organization structure, the operational mode, the incubating process and the gaining modes.
