The Research Of The Structure & Correlation In China's Electricity Industry

Since the Reform and Opening-up, it has made quiet great progresses in China's power industry. The state's total installed electric capacity reaches 385 GW, electricity generation is 1908 billion KWH and electricity consumption grows to 1891 billion KWH in 2003. However, it faces a severe situation that electric power is in short supply as a whole. The main reason lies not only on power quantity, but more on power structure.This article based on some theories of industrial economics and lengthways analytic methods mainly discusses the correlation between China's power industry and national economy and some contents in power structures such as in power investment, power generation, power grid, district and so on. It analyzes relevant problems appeared in the power reality and try to propose some feasible strategies. At the mean time, it also gives some advices on promoting the adjustment in China's power industry structure, optimizing the collocation of resource and accelerating our power industry's reform and development.
