Analysis On Human Resource Supply Of Internal Labor Market With Multistate Life Table Model

Given the importance of human resource planning (HRP) in human resource management, it is necessary to have an analysis on its core-human resource internal supply. The study on internal supply helps guide human resource management practice and then make appropriate human resource decisions. And the key to this kind of study lies in the proper choice of an analysis method.This thesis intends to adopt the multistate life table model to analyze human resource internal supply within organizations. It first examines the construction analysis, mobility analysis and forecast function from multistate life table model. After that when applying the method to research on human resource internal supply it reveals the human resource mobility of organizations is abnormal, which includes the higher turnover of younger employees and the lower internal mobility of employee-in-lower-positions within organizations. To solve theses problems, it also puts forward corresponding strategies in the end. Therefore this thesis scientifically offers a kind of quantitative research method for the study field of human resource planning, which is feasible for the organizations to follow suit in order to improve their proficiency and efficiency.This thesis is divided into four chapters:Chapter one: the background and topic of this thesis.
