Post-Evaluation Research Of Expressway Construction Project

Basic construction in transportation has greatly developed since the 1980's, especially with an expressway of 25,000 kilometers, the second in the world. However, we lack experience in the design, the construction, the maintenance and management of expressway, which causes many problems. To some projects we do not achieve our aims, and therefore cause a great waste of money to our country. And the same problems appear in some projects. The post-evaluation of expressway is not only necessary but also imperative so that we can summarize our experience, absorb lessons and improve our decision-making level and management level.Post-evaluation of expressway is a newly-developing topic. But so far we have not established our evaluation contents and means because of various reasons, such as late-development, system, cognition, etc. Summarizing the theory of post-evaluation projects in foreign countries and combining the practices of expressway construction in our country, the author not only presents the content and procedure of post-evaluation of expressway construction project but also establishes ways and means of post-evaluation project in this thesis. Also validity of project post-evaluation ways and means is reasoned through sample analysis in this thesis.
