In this thesis, I analysis the theory of human resource scorecard which is introduced by Brian E.Becker, Mark A.Huselid, Dave Ulrich and point out the shortcoming of the theory. For the shortcoming of the theory, I go on research in order to solve the questions of assessment of human resource management and the control of human resource strategy in the Chinese firms.This thesis includes the following aspects, which are also my own viewpoints.Firstly, I analysis the ways that the human resource management system can become strategic assets with the resource-based theory creatively, which constructs the condition for the establishment of human resource scorecard theory.Secondly, I study the relation between human resource scorecard theory and balanced scorecard theory.Thirdly, I suggest that the human resource scorecard can help to control the human resource strategy creatively, which add the function of human resource scorecard.Fourthly, I widen the ways of designing human resource scorecard. I put forward two new modes, one is based on balanced scorecard, and the other is based on human resource strategy.Fifthly, I study the application of the new human resource scorecard theory. In addition, I connect the methods with the practice of enterprise.Finally, I analysis the effect of using the human resource scorecard.
