Research On Economic And Trade Cooperation Between Fujian Province And Hong Kong Under The Framework Of CEPA

From the aspect of regional economic integration, through introducing the basic situation of the foreign economic and trade in Fujian province, current situation of economic and trade cooperation between Fujian province and Hong Kong and its important role in the opening in Fujian province, this paper analyzes characteristics, operation and controlling factors of economic and trade cooperation between Fujian province and Hong Kong, as well as the meaning, background, general object and main content of CEPA. This paper introduces overall impact of the implementation of CEPA: firstly, improve the development of investment relations; secondly, improve the development of trade relations; thirdly, promote the regional cooperation; fourthly, promote the development of tourist relation. Based on the above, from the aspect of dynamic and static effect resulting from regional economic collectivization, the paper present the view, that the trade creative effect brought by economic integration of Fujian province and Hong Kong should embody on service industry and the trade transfer effect should embody on manufacturing industry. It also analyzes the three dynamic effect, that is scale economy, competition and investment stimulation, which resulting from economic integration of Fujian province and Hong Kong. The thesis probe into the future of economic and trade cooperation between Fujian province and Hong Kong under the framework of CEPA, and bring forward measures promoting the economic and trade cooperation between Fujian province and Hong Kong: firstly, clarify the orientation in CEPA; secondly, strengthen the overall coordinate operation of Fujian province and Hong Kong; thirdly, promote the upgrading and economic structural optimization according to the thought of regional economic integration; fourthly, change the role of government and strengthen the construction of investment environment. CEPA will impel Taiwan to take join the process of regional economic integration of mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Fujian province is playing an irreplaceable role in the affairs related with Taiwan. Fujian province should take the opportunity to play more actively in the establishment of "Big China Economic Circle", as well as to develop itself.
