With restraining of carbon emission in the whole world, the quantitative estimation of carbon emission become a hot point studied, hi order to efficaciously evaluate the abatement project, the veracious amount of carbon emission should be calculated. The estimation method study is of a intermediate link of quantitative carbon emission study. This study aims to create proper method that can be applied in industry branch carbon sources estimation.Through analyzing the means of carbon emission in Industry branch, amount of carbon emission not only has close relationships with production patterns, energy usage rate,but also with science technology, investment,population in the economic system and so on, which are interactional. So, this paper creates the modeled sign of carbon emission in industry branch carbon sources on the base of system simulation. And in the model, relative factors such as population, society development etc. are quantitatively considered. At last, the successful experiment of applying this model to iron and steel Industry data to estimate the carbon emission shows that this method can be applied in industry branch carbon sources.This estimation method of system simulation avoids unreality of using static estimation, and also abstains only taking emission amount as a variable in dynamic models at present which can not describe carbon sources inner changes of carbon sources. This method presents reliable performance in carbon emission estimation.
