Crisis Management Network Public Opinion Research Letters

As the rapid development of the Internet, network opinion field, being the Fourth Media, is turning more and more boisterous. Its influence in all aspects of social life increases and has even motivated the changes in public administration. As the Reform and Opening up policy has lasted 30 years, the reform of China has reached a crucial stage, in which ideas and benefit patterns are experiencing profound changes. All types of deep social contradictions are increasingly appearing, which are reflected through the channel of letters and visits. Letters and visits have turned to be the social focus and the Internet public opinions concerning letters and visits are easy to form and lead to crisis which damages the image of the government. Firstly, this thesis clarifies the basic concepts of internet public opinions, internet public opinions crisis and internet public opinions crisis of letters and visits through the essential theories and methods of public administration and communication. Finally, the thesis proposes five realistic measures, which are raising the sense of responsibility, perfecting the legal system, introducing the administrative methods, forming a linkage mechanism and upgrading the technical level of internet public opinions crisis management via letters and visits.
