Taiwan has historically been an inalienable part of China's sacred territory. The Taiwan issue as China's civil war legacy. the problems are China's internal affairs. but because of the geopolitical value of Taiwan's strategic value and use its value to contain China. the Taiwan issue mixed with a large number of complex factors。Among them. the U.S. factor is about the Taiwan issue can be the most important factor. it can even be said that the Taiwan issue to interfere in China's internal affairs as a result the United States. Thus the research for the U.S. policy toward Taiwan will not only help us to evaluate. analyze and forecast U.S. policy toward Taiwan. but also help us to adapt policies to handle the Taiwan issue. the Taiwan issue to the direction toward healthy development. early be resolved.After the Cold War, Cold War between "bipolar" is completely broken. forming a "one superpower and many"situation. as the Cold War between the United States has become a very unique superpower。Transformation in the pattern of the background of the world. the U.S. proposed a "new world order " of the strategic vision to adjust the global strategy. the Asia-Pacific strategy.
