| At present, tourism development in Sanjiang Area (Heilongjiang River, Songhuajiang River and Wusulijiang River) of Heilongjiang Province is still in an underdeveloped situation. It's of great value to explore the tourism developing pattern of the Sanjiang Area according to its practical situation. And this work will do good to both the tourism industry and the region's economy. Using correlation theory of regional tourism development, the paper makes a systemic study of the tourism development in Sanjiang Area. It first points out the tourism developing pattern on the basis of analyzing the conditions of tourism development, then discusses how to put it into practice.The paper is composed of four parts. The first chapter defines the boundary of Sanjiang Area and introduces the present research situation and the aim and significance of the writer's study. The second chapter makes a systemic analysis of the tourism developing conditions of Sanjiang Area from the following aspects: macro-background, basis and present situation of tourism industry, tourism resources, location conditions and market conditions, and draw a conclusion that it has a foundation for tourism development. The third chapter discusses the tourism developing pattern of Sanjiang Area depending on correlation theory of regional tourism development. On the basis of chapter three, the fourth chapter makes a further analysis of the tourism development in Sanjiang Area from three aspects, that is, "an axis and two circles" pattern in region development; paying equal attention to the domestic market and the international market; strengthen the development of folk tourism product, the frontier tourism product and eco-tourism product. The author expected the research through the paper could provide the guidance for the tourism development in this area.
