By using the economic analysis method, this paper does research on the antitrust problem in international trade competition. At the same time, the law analysis method is taken into consideration, too. Its structure shows six main parts: preface, theory, practical research, analysis, measures and conclusion. Chapter one is the introduction of the basic items, such as the research background etc. Chapter two is the economic theory part, which demonstrates that effective competition should be the target of antitrust policy. Chapter three is the law theory part, which does analysis on the process and differences of antirust legislation of typical countries. Chapter four demonstrates that there is administrative monopoly in domestic and China is suffering international trade monopoly by practical research. Chapter five probes into the adaptation of the related economic and law theory to China, and summarizes the problems emerged in the above practical research. Chapter six puts up with some measures for solving China's antitrust problem. The basic research methods of this paper can be summarized into three points. First, it combines economic analysis with law analysis. Second, it combines theory analysis with practical analysis. Third, it does comparative research between domestic and abroad antitrust practice. The creative fruits of this paper are as follows. First, it comes up with new understanding of some concepts such as antidumping. Furthermore, it points out that economic theory and law theory should be both taken into consideration when studying antitrust problems. Second, it redefines the judging standard of the concept of effective competition and does practical research on China's petroleum & chemistry industry by using the standard. It demonstrates successfully that the administrative monopoly has blocked the formation of effective competition pattern in China's industries. Third, it has put up with some valuable antitrust measures in international trade field and defends China's interest. Subject to restrictions on my own knowledge and research methods, there must be deficiencies in this article and demands for further research.
